Your experience begins with a consultation in English or French. We don’t just discuss locations, crowds, and lighting—we prepare you for success. Expect detailed guidance covering speech pacing, optimal positioning (down to rear foot placement), and timing strategies. We also provide GPS coordinates, lighting recommendations, and crowd insights. We cover body positioning that accounts for her preferred photogenic side, jacket management to prevent lapel bulging, proper ring presentation, and ensuring ring visibility when you place it on her finger. This isn’t generic advice—it’s proven expert guidance to ensure your Paris engagement exceeds expectations while photographing beautifully.

Whether you choose a public Paris location or a private venue, we arrive early on proposal day to scout optimal angles and position ourselves discreetly. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a private online gallery with all your unedited photos to relive the excitement. You then select your favorites for professional editing based on your package. Your masterfully edited, high-resolution images arrive within two weeks, ready for prints, albums, and sharing. Need additional edits or want all photos in high resolution? We offer flexible add-on options.

Will my partner know you’re there, photographing?
No, your partner will never suspect we’re there. We arrive 15-30 minutes early and position ourselves discreetly, blending into public spaces as tourists taking phone photos, chatting with our photography associate, or reading a newspaper. Our professional photography equipment lets us capture intimate details from optimal distances without any intrusion or distraction. We’ve photographed over 1,200 proposals and have developed exceptional awareness to anticipate the unexpected, adapt quickly to changing situations, and confidently capture all your precious reactions.
How much does a Paris proposal photographer cost?
Our Paris proposal photography starts at €300 for our Essential package with Juliana or Scander. This base package includes pre-arrival preparation, 60 minutes of continuous photo coverage, and 20 masterfully edited, high-resolution images delivered for digital download in a private online gallery.
Our most popular Signature package is €550 for 120 minutes with 45 edited images.
For evening shoots that conclude after sunset, we require a lighting associate at €100/hour to ensure optimal photo quality.
We can customize any Paris proposal package with extended photography coverage, adding a videographer or violinist, hand-delivering champagne and long-stemmed roses, organizing luxury transportation, and more.
For full-service proposal planning, our sister company specializes in custom solutions and offers exclusive access to Paris’s finest venues and vendors while inspiring you with unique ideas.
Will you help me choose the perfect proposal spot?
Yes. After understanding your vision and preferences, we’ll recommend ideal Paris settings based on 15 years of experience. We consider lighting, privacy, crowds, backup weather options, and photo potential to suggest 2-3 perfect locations for your specific proposal style.
What happens if it rains on my proposal day?
We monitor weather forecasts closely and contact you 48 hours before to discuss options. We can: 1) Proceed with beautiful rainy Paris photos (umbrellas provided), 2) Adjust timing to avoid precipitation, 3) Move to our curated list of stunning indoor locations, or 4) Reschedule if your itinerary allows—with no rescheduling fee.
How far in advance should I book?
For peak season (April-October) and holidays, book 2-3 months ahead to secure your preferred date and time. For off-peak months, 3-4 weeks’ notice is typically sufficient. Last-minute requests can sometimes be accommodated—contact us to check availability.
What should I do to prepare for the proposal?
We’ll provide a detailed preparation guide after booking. Key points: 1) Practice kneeling in your planned outfit, 2) Position the ring box for easy access, 3) Memorize our agreed-upon location and landmark, 4) Have a simple phrase prepared to signal when you’ve reached the spot. Our pre-proposal call covers all these details.
Do I need permits for my Paris proposal?
Most outdoor Paris locations don’t require permits for small-scale proposals. However, some spots like private rooftops, luxury hotels, or indoor venues may need permission. We handle these arrangements for Premium and Luxe packages and provide guidance for Classic packages.
How quickly will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive 3-5 preview images within 24 hours to share your news. The complete gallery is delivered within 7 days via a private online gallery with downloading and sharing capabilities.
How do I book, and what’s the payment process?
Click “Check Availability,” select your package, and confirm with a 30% deposit. The balance is due 14 days before your proposal date. We accept credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers.
