If you’d like to see a full representative gallery, just ask our studio managers for a link. (We don’t share boudoir or celebrity shoots, which remain private.)
Do your photographers speak English (or other languages)?
All of our photographers speak fluent English and French.
In addition:
— Scander speaks some Japanese
— Juliana speaks Portuguese
— Cengiz speaks German
Most sessions are conducted in English, and your photographer will provide clear and confident directions throughout the shoot.
Can I meet or chat with my photographer before the event?
In-person meetings aren’t practical, but we still make sure you’re well prepared:
Weddings, proposals & boudoir: a quick Zoom or WhatsApp call is common to review the game plan and address any questions.
For all other sessions, we coordinate via email or WhatsApp messages—no face-to-face meeting is needed.
What if my photographer gets sick?
This rarely happens—our photographers understand the importance of your shoot and typically arrive unless it would be unsafe for you. If there’s a true emergency, we’ll immediately propose an alternative from our roster of experienced, English-speaking photographers, matching specialized experience for proposals or boudoir sessions. You’ll get a quick introduction beforehand. If you reject our substitute and the cancellation was on us, we’ll refund your full payment and help you find another photographer outside our studio.

How far in advance should I book?
The earlier you reserve, the better your chance to lock in your preferred timeslot and secure the best rates on add-ons. That said, our team and Kiss Me in Paris Proposals & Weddings can arrange shoots on very short notice—even within 24 hours. For last-minute or same-day requests, please call us directly.
How do I pay?
To book, a 50% deposit and a signed contract are required to secure your date and photographer. We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, gift cards, wire transfers, and cash.
Final payment: The remaining 50% is due by your shoot date. For cash payments, payment must be made immediately after your session.
How many people can you photograph?
The more the merrier. Our photographers regularly handle large groups, know how to coordinate everyone, suggest poses that work for all ages, and maintain a positive and fun energy throughout your session. We never charge additional coordination fees for larger groups.
How many photos will I receive?
Your final number of edited images depends on your booked hours:
— 30 min → 10 images
— 1 hr → 20 images
— 2 hrs → 45 images
— 3 hrs → 70 images
— 4 hrs → 100 images
— Each additional hour → +25 images
All unedited proofs appear in your private gallery within 24 hours. You select which images to edit (up to your package count), and we deliver the final high-resolution JPEGs (watermark-free, 240 DPI) for digital download within 14 days of your selections.
Need more edits?
— Extra edits: €5/photo
— Full unedited collection: €100 per hour of coverage (capped at €300)
Ask us about discounted pricing on the unedited high-resolution images at the time of booking.
When will I receive my photos, and in what format?
You download full-resolution, watermark-free JPEGs (240 DPI) directly from your private gallery. These files support large prints, framing, or any other use—you can easily export lower-resolution versions for social media.
Can I order prints, albums, or other products?
Yes. From your private online gallery, you can order:
— Professional prints, canvas wraps, and custom photo books (worldwide shipping)
— Photo gifts: mugs, mouse pads, phone cases, etc.
For heirloom keepsakes, we also offer:
— Handmade artisan albums from master bookmakers in England and New Zealand
— Museum-quality framing with archival glass, delivered ready to hang (white-glove packaging)
Can I use my photos for commercial purposes?
Your package includes full personal-use rights (for prints and social media).
Commercial use—such as advertising, resale, or press—requires a separate release. Just let us know, and we’ll arrange the appropriate licensing.
Will you share my photos on social media?
Contractually, we reserve the right to share images on our social media and website, as we retain the commercial rights. However, we rarely post photos of clients who prefer privacy—there’s no benefit for us, and we respect your wishes.
If you want guaranteed privacy protection, we offer NDAs at additional fees with various privacy levels. We never share boudoir photos, NDA sessions, or photos with children without express written permission.
Many clients actually love seeing their Paris photos inspire others, but the choice is always yours—just let us know your preference.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that unforeseen issues, such as flight cancellations, visa complications, health concerns, or work commitments, may necessitate changes to your plans. For all photo and video sessions (weddings and large-event contracts have separate terms), here’s our policy:
— Cancel 10+ days before: full refund minus a 10 % administrative fee
— Cancel within 10 days: deposit becomes a non-refundable retainer
— No-show without written notice: deposit becomes a non-refundable retainer
We’ll always try to accommodate a date-change request, but availability isn’t guaranteed, especially during peak season or holidays. To convert your deposit into a 12-month credit, send a written request by email. Weather alone does not qualify for a refund, though we’ll work with you to adjust or reschedule your shoot.
If you have questions about these terms, please ask before booking.
What if I’m running late?
Your session begins at the booked start time. Any late arrival reduces your available shoot time. If your photographer can stay later—and has no immediate next booking—you may extend at these rates:
— Juliana or Scander (regular shoots): €50 per 15 minutes
— Other photographers, filmmakers, or specialized shoots: higher rates apply
To avoid lost time, plan to arrive early—traffic, strikes, or ride-share delays can be unpredictable.
How many locations can I visit during my shoot?
Your session is billed by time spent, not by the number of spots or outfit changes. Whether you visit one landmark or five, switch outfits, answer calls, or take breaks, it all counts toward your booked hours. For a smooth shoot, we suggest allowing about one hour per major location (Trocadéro, Montmartre, Louvre, Palais-Royal, Notre-Dame), but feel free to cover as many spots as you like.
How do we move between locations?
— On foot: best for nearby clusters—Trocadéro to Bir-Hakeim, Pont d’Iéna, Avenue de Camoëns, or a well-deserved stop at a local café.
— Private van service: Mercedes V-Class with an English-speaking driver; ideal for remote locations, secure storage, wardrobe changes, and maximizing your session time (€120 per hour).
Are there travel fees for locations outside central Paris?
— Central Paris: no extra fees—only your session time.
— Versailles & Disneyland: Travel time and transport costs apply; a 3-hour minimum booking is required.
— Other French regions (Provence, Champagne, etc.): per diem, travel, and hotel fees. We’ll send a detailed quote before you confirm.
— International destinations: you cover reasonable travel and accommodation; we’ll outline estimates up front.
What should I wear for my shoot?
Above all, choose outfits that feel comfortable and reflect your style. Since Paris is the fashion capital, aim for a polished look:
— Colors & fabrics: opt for soft pastels, jewel tones, or neutrals; avoid busy patterns and fabrics that crease easily
— Shoes: bring comfortable walking shoes, then switch into dress shoes or heels for key shots
— Layers: spring and fall benefit from light layers; in winter, add warm accessories (gloves, scarves) and consider an assistant for quick shoe changes and coat hand-offs
After booking, share your wardrobe ideas or a Pinterest board with your photographer so they can provide input.
What happens if it rains during my shoot?
Don’t worry—80% of “rainy” forecasts never materialize, and clients who cancel often regret it when their rescheduled date has worse weather.
Light rain or overcast skies are actually ideal for photography. You’ll get soft lighting that flatters your skin, eliminates harsh shadows, prevents squinting, and keeps tourist crowds at bay. We provide stylish, clear umbrellas that photograph beautifully.
For heavy rain, we’ll work with you to adjust locations—covered passages, gorgeous cafés, elegant arcades—or reschedule if our schedule allows. The earlier you communicate concerns, the better we can adapt.
Note: We don’t offer refunds for weather-related cancellations.
When is the best time to shoot in Paris?
Sunrise: soft light and minimal crowds at landmarks like Trocadéro, Palais Royal, or the Louvre.
Blue hour: rich colors and city lights—ideal at Pont Alexandre III, Bir-Hakeim, Louvre, or Montmartre.
Seasonal highlights:
— Winter: festive lights on the Champs-Élysées and Place Vendôme
— Spring: cherry blossoms in early April
— Summer: golden-hour sunsets as late as 10 pm
— Fall: autumnal hues in the Tuileries and Luxembourg Gardens
Your photographer will suggest the best schedule and spots based on your style and vision.
Should I tip my photographer?
Tipping is optional but appreciated as a thank-you gesture:
— €50–100 for 1–2 hour sessions
— 15–20% of the session fee for longer shoots
You can tip in cash or via PayPal or Venmo at the end of your session.
