Meet SCANDER
Scander picked up photography the hard way: leading activities with kids at a summer camp in Tsunan, Japan in 2015. If you can direct children and keep them engaged, directing adults is a breeze.
A self-starter with a warm approach, Scander has shot over 2,000 sessions in street, fashion, runway, boudoir, and wedding photography. He knows Paris inside and out—from the prettiest Eiffel Tower spots to lesser-known nooks tourists never find.
His fashion background gives him an expert grasp of lighting and composition, so you’ll look confident on camera. Whether you want step-by-step direction or prefer to take charge, Scander adapts to your style.
What began as a way for a reserved guy to meet new people turned him into one of Paris’s busiest photographers. Scander brings energy and fresh ideas to shoots while keeping things relaxed and fun.

Kiss Me partnered my proposal session with Juliana Aguiar and I could not have asked for a better photographer! She suggested a beautiful plan that included stopping at multiple locations along the way. She was understanding of the pauses needed for impromptu photo ops, as well as breaks needed to cool down from the Paris heatwave we experienced. Throughout the stroll to our final location, she made sure to check in on us and also had lovely casual conversation with my partner and me (which helped to ease my pre-proposal nerves). Juliana was absolutely amazing! I never leave google reviews, but this experience couldn’t be topped so I had to write one. She had availability last minute for my proposal to my fiancé and the pictures turned out incredibly! She had great recommendations and basically planned out the surprise proposal herself, I just followed her directions. I even had a last minute schedule change and she was able to accommodate and make the proposal one of the most special days of my life! Cannot recommend them enough!

Juliana was amazing! As someone who was going to Paris for only 24 hours to surprise propose and, on top of that, didn’t know Paris she was a life saver! She helped with the all the logistics, down to every little detail including creating a map of the exact spot where we lured the future bride! She was so patient and made me feel like I was in great hands. The 2 hour shoot was definitely worth it, the photos turned out perfect.

I can’t say enough amazing things about Juliana. I was shocked and stunned and emotional after being proposed to in Paris and she was patient and so kind with me/us. She gave time for us to soak up the moment before we started a two hour photoshoot around the Lourve. I instantly felt comfortable with her (and the idea of a surprise photoshoot!) as she guided our poses. She gave fantastic feedback the whole time as well. She wasn’t afraid to tell lingering tourists to kindly move so we could get the perfect shot. She included my mom in some pictures as well which was really kind. Juliana was perfect!!
